| On May 5th our Post was invited to the Parma City Council Meeting in order that the Mayor and City Council could present us with a resolution from Council along with a proclamation and the Key to the City from the Mayor honoring us with Citizen of the Month for February 2008. Thanks go to Parma CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) for nominating us and encouraging the city to violate their rules in order to bestow this honor for the first time to an organization rather than to an individual. It was an honor to stand along with our uniformed Color Guard and lead those assembled in the Pledge of Allegiance and to accept these awards on behalf of the Post.
